Position Summary: Data Analyst II should proactively contribute in designing, developing and evolving high quality, usable and extensive Data Analysis solutions. Under supervision, perform ad-hoc and routine tasking. Work closely with other members of the Data Services team, the Data Analyst will engage internal customers at all levels, develop ad-hoc and continuous enterprise level reports, and contribute to new and existing analytical studies. SHould be able to provides guidance and insight to lesser experienced team members. As a member of CCB’s Data Services team, this position will document key protocols, procedures, and system infrastructure as part of an ongoing data stewardship/governance effort of the technology through the PRA enterprise. The Data Analyst provides metrics and analysis to the business users that reflects the performance of the company. The candidate should be able to do the following (but not limited to) Employing various tools to complete business analytics requests for systems throughout the enterprise. Strong analytical skills to help determine the best solution to handle a variety of data formats received from clients Develop, modify, and implement enterprise level reports Strong grasp of common data practices used to extract, transform and load into various formats Assist in the management of data, ensuring data integrity is at the forefront of all processes Assist in the documentation of new and existing data stores, to assist in the administration and maintenance of the enterprise data governance program. Leverage analytical skills on relevant data to maximize CCB revenue Identify deficiencies and other areas of concern in systems, recommending any strategies for optimization Providing support to Operations team to ensure the timely and accurate filing of claims Aid in the presentation of data based upon user requirements Work alongside other Data Analysts throughout the enterprise to ensure CCB is following guidelines established by PRA IT department. Assist in providing expertise on analytical concepts used by the broader data services team. Assist with advocating, evangelizing, and building data driven solutions to help CCB meet our yearly net income goals. Professional Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative disciplines 3+ year(s) experience in the following: Strong SQL skills, preferably TSQL GitHub Strong written and oral communication skills Strong grasp of fundamental ETL concepts, Ability to effectively juggle multiple development, administrative, and support projects simultaneously.
