Bingley Fields is a 340-ha irrigated mixed- arable operation located in Mid Canterbury. Our business is made up arable crops (cereals, ryegrass, cocksfoot and small seeds), dairy grazing as well as running up to 7000 store lambs from early autumn through to late spring. The farm is flat, irrigated via centre pivots and a lateral and located 5km from Methven. We aim to be self-sufficient, meaning that most jobs are completed in-house and that there is a huge variety of work available for the successful candidate, including: cultivation, drilling, fertiliser spreading, spraying, harvesting, animal health, stock work, fencing, irrigation as well as general farm duties.
