We are seeking a caring Mobile House Parent to join our compassionate and friendly team based initially in Aurukun . This position is Casual with the possibility of becoming full- time. As a House Parent you will have the opportunity to live and work within the safe house where you will be supported by a team of residential support workers to build a warm, supportive, and safe home atmosphere for sibling groups placed within the home. The SafeKIDS Program provides care for children in the remote Aboriginal communities of Aurukun, Napranum, Kowanyama, Pormpuraaw Doomadgee and a Reunification House in Cairns . These programs are 24/7 services and as a mobile worker there is an expectation that you will be available to travel to any of the communities within the program and to work weekends and evenings, including sleepovers spread over seven days at the house.
