JOB DUTIES: SQL-equivalent Reporting and Metrics Analyst to leverage their business and technical knowledge to assist the Project Lead in understanding business strategy and objectives, gather information, and ensure business requirements are being fulfilled throughout the entire data & analytics life cycle. The Reporting and Metrics Analyst should be passionate about diving into data as a mechanism to deeply understand a business, be customer-service oriented, be skilled in delivering insights to others, and be able to envision the informational needs of different audiences and design reports that deliver empirically and visually. A successful candidate will : Be motivated to understand, identify, and analyze data from multiple sources. Have excellent communication skills, statistical, and organizational skills. Be able to translate data into visually pleasing, easy to use charts that can be presented to senior leadership in presentation materials. Be able to create charts with easy to follow drill down detail. Be able to adapt quickly in handling multiple and re-prioritized deadlines and project goals. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Ability to navigate and write SQL statements against a transactional schema. Ability to write SQL statements with moderately complex calculations, joins, grouping. Experience using data visualization and dashboard tools like Chart.io, Tableau. Preferably already proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, as well as familiar with standard basic operational business concepts. Experience with custom report creation and reporting analytics. Ability to slice and dice data to provide insight across multiple dimensions for varying operational teams. Ability to use advanced Excel features like pivot tables and lookups. Experience in data visualization & using data to tell a story. Knowledge of how to clean and link complicated data sets from various sources. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to interpret customer questions into actionable analytics. Google Suites, particularly Google Sheets & Google Forms. Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance, economics, statistics, analytics, information systems, business management, program management, or another related field. Ability to manage multiple assignments. Superior written and oral communication skills. 6-10+ years of experience.
