The Opportunity IDEXX Laboratories are currently seeking a full-time qualified and experienced Veterinary Laboratory Scientist to work within our Melbourne Laboratory. Working as part of a team our Laboratory Scientists contribute to the delivery of a timely, effective, and efficient diagnostic pathology services. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to specimen reception, routine diagnostic testing, quality control, general laboratory duties, instrument maintenance and general maintenance. The Veterinary Laboratory Scientist will ensure that IDEXX Reference Laboratories operate at the highest level of accuracy by performing, monitoring and acting upon quality control procedures – while monitoring, calibrating, and troubleshooting their performance, in compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation/certification requirements at all times.
