About The Role We are seeking a Research Software Engineer to support our research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Digital Civics. This role will contribute to various research activities, including our EPSRC Centre for Digital Citizens, but will be particularly focused on our UKRI-funded AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) which, over the next eight years, will train 60 PhD researchers in citizen-centred approaches to AI. Our research focuses on designing, building, and evaluating speculative and reimagined citizen-centred AI and data-driven technologies.
