Buena Vista University’s School of Liberal Arts invites applications for the full-time, non-tenure track Online Field Placement Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Social Work in our CSWE-accredited Bachelor of Social Work program. The position includes both hybrid work as the Online Field Placement Coordinator, and in-person classroom teaching on the Storm Lake campus. The individual in this position provides primary leadership and oversight of our online Social Work Field education experiences. The candidate should enjoy teaching at the college level. In addition to Field Practicum courses, the candidate will teach Human Behavior in the Social Environment and other courses as appropriate. We are open to the candidate’s area(s) of specialization.
