Sydney-born founders Brian Hannaford and Christian Green were both veteran IT recruiters when they decided to join forces and establish Motion Recruitment in June of 2014. Their decades of combined experience in the niche industry and their frustration with the overcomplicated ways in which firms were trying to match talent and companies gave them the confidence to build a company with a simpler vision: delivering a world-class IT recruitment service without the nonsense.
Clearly, their confidence was founded. In just a few years they've built one of Sydney's most trusted and fastest-growing boutique IT recruitment firms, leading a team of vibrant, passionate and informed recruiters. While Motion have needed to relocate their Surry Hills headquarters twice already - to cater to a growing team of likeminded recruiters - the values that underpin everything we do remain the same:
