RAC exists to protect and enhance the lifestyle of its members and WA

As a membership organisation, RAC does not have any shareholders. That means we can reinvest our profits for the better of our members and the WA community.

Our purpose is to make life better in WA by offering our members great products and services and investing in initiatives that help make life better for everyone in WA.

Some of the initiatives we contribute to includes our sponsorship of the RAC Rescue helicopters and their life saving missions, delivering road safety education to over half a million Western Australian children, and investing in our Automated Vehicle Program trials to help us understanding how driverless technology can help us in the future.

We also campaign for safe and sustainable transport options on behalf of our one million members, including our Risky Roads campaign, driver distraction campaign and advocating to government on motoring taxes, infrastructure needs and safety.

We also give back through our Member Benefits program which gives RAC members discounts on RAC products and services, plus savings on fuel, shopping and more.
