Day-to-Day for the Technical Recruiter

  • Source, target, and recruit highly qualified talent using techniques and tools including referrals, networking, cold calling, and data-sourcing tools
  • Learn how to Conduct & complete detailed discovery calls with potential candidates
  • Present opportunities and requirements to candidates
  • Help candidates with opportunities for which they are qualified and the best fit for the opening
  • Strategize with leadership & fellow recruiters to assist and launch all new client opportunities
  • Effective planning, organization & prioritization between our Account Managers & our clients

Qualifications for the Entry Level Recruiter:

  • Bachelor's degree (Sales and/or Marketing prefered)
  • Previous experience in sales, business development and/or customer service beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Internships or part-time roles in sales / marketing or recruitment are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Comfortable using social media platforms for recruiting purposes.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Other:
  • Willingness to attend career fairs and networking events.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing recruitment needs and processes.
  • No phone reluctance – confident in your ability to drive conversation & nurture relationships over the phone
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, coachable
  • Tech-savvy and social media proficiency
