Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that inherent in every young person is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and young people up to age 24 ("Littles").
Research tells us that, compared to all other young people their age, youth matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister perform better in school, avoid violence and illegal activities, and have stronger relationships with their parents and others.
