Automation Engineer
Location: looking for people in either Plano or Houston
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The primary objective of the role is to develop and maintain automated solutions that improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SCADA and PLC systems to improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure the smooth operation of automated systems by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure that all automated systems and processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems, including operating procedures and user manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing SCADA and PLC systems.
- Strong knowledge of Electric Power Systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with Electric Power Transmission, Distribution, and generation systems.
