Job Description

Orange County Personal Injury law firm is seeking a motivated, self-starter for our Anaheim office to take the role of Case Manager.

About Us: At JSM Injury Firm, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal representation and support to our clients. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in handling all aspects of Personal Injury claims in the pre-litigation phase. Your responsibilities include frequent client communication, managing medical records, assisting with medical appointments, liaising with insurance providers, and providing top-notch customer service.

Right candidate will be awarded a $1,500 sign on bonus in the first payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Personal Injury claims in the pre-litigation phase.
  • Provide excellent and timely customer service to clients, ensuring they receive the support and assistance they need.
  • Actively medically manage each assigned matter with Attorney approval, including scheduling medical appointments and obtaining referrals for additional medical treatment.
  • Gather all necessary documents for demand writing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Organize data and information using CRM technology, maintaining organized and accessible case records.
  • Oversee an assistant and act as a liaison for other departments within the firm, promoting effective collaboration.
  • Handle a substantial case load of 100+ files, demonstrating exceptional multitasking skills.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly, ensuring efficient communication.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) proficiency is preferred.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Personal Injury case management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a paperless system and tech-savvy.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Previous experience in a medical office is a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle high call volume efficiently - both incoming and outgoing.
  • 1-2 years of data entry experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably CasePEER, but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new processes, and adaptability to technology.
  • Ability to operate copier, scanner, fax, and computer proficiently.
  • Comfortable working at a desk and using computer/phone for prolonged periods.
