Orange County Personal Injury law firm is seeking a motivated, self-starter for our Anaheim office to take the role of Case Manager.
About Us: At JSM Injury Firm, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional legal representation and support to our clients. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in handling all aspects of Personal Injury claims in the pre-litigation phase. Your responsibilities include frequent client communication, managing medical records, assisting with medical appointments, liaising with insurance providers, and providing top-notch customer service.
Right candidate will be awarded a $1,500 sign on bonus in the first payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the Personal Injury claims in the pre-litigation phase.
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to clients, ensuring they receive the support and assistance they need.
- Actively medically manage each assigned matter with Attorney approval, including scheduling medical appointments and obtaining referrals for additional medical treatment.
- Gather all necessary documents for demand writing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize data and information using CRM technology, maintaining organized and accessible case records.
- Oversee an assistant and act as a liaison for other departments within the firm, promoting effective collaboration.
- Handle a substantial case load of 100+ files, demonstrating exceptional multitasking skills.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to emails promptly, ensuring efficient communication.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) proficiency is preferred.
- More than 3 years of experience in Personal Injury case management experience is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a paperless system and tech-savvy.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills with effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Previous experience in a medical office is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle high call volume efficiently - both incoming and outgoing.
- 1-2 years of data entry experience.
- Familiarity with CRM software, preferably CasePEER, but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new processes, and adaptability to technology.
- Ability to operate copier, scanner, fax, and computer proficiently.
- Comfortable working at a desk and using computer/phone for prolonged periods.
