Overview of the Team
The Mental Health and Research team is responsible for the delivery of evidence-based innovative programs and initiatives that influence how Comcare meets its strategic intent to promote and enable safe and healthy work, including mentally healthy workplaces. The team, comprising both Mental Health and Research functions, engages collaboratively across the business and with external stakeholders to conduct and translate research to deliver a positive impact for the Scheme.
Overview of the Role
The Assistant Director, Research and Engagement is responsible for leading and managing innovative initiatives and research programs for the Comcare scheme. The Assistant Director, Research and Engagement will ensure the utilisation of data and evidence-based approaches in the development, monitoring, evaluation, translation, and promotion of applied research.
The role has a strong focus on developing, managing and sustaining internal and external senior stakeholder relationships to ensure successful knowledge translation and achievement of outcomes that inform better practice across the scheme.
