Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s financial strategy and operations. This leader will be responsible for global expansion, fundraising, valuation, and ensuring financial sustainability, while collaborating closely with the CEO to build a scalable financial framework for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership

• Create and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s mission and growth trajectory.
• Provide data-driven insights and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Explore new revenue models, strategic collaborations, and market opportunities to refine our business roadmap.

2. Business Modeling and Valuation

• Develop advanced financial models to predict multi-scenario outcomes and optimize strategic decision-making.
• Apply valuation methodologies (DCF, CCA, precedent transactions) to assess the value of IP, products, and potential acquisitions.
• Align resource allocation with growth initiatives, including technology innovation and global market entry.

3. Capital Management

• Spearhead fundraising initiatives through venture capital, private equity, and strategic partnerships.
• Cultivate relationships with global financial institutions and manage cross-border transactions.
• Ensure efficient capital allocation across R&D, product rollouts, and operational expansions.

4. International Money Markets

• Optimize global cash flow management through sophisticated currency hedging and foreign exchange strategies.
• Mitigate financial risks with tools such as derivatives, swaps, and forward contracts.
• Maintain compliance with international monetary regulations and central banking policies.

5. Financial Documents and Budgeting

• Prepare and manage balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or local regulations.
• Establish zero-based or incremental budgeting processes for transparency and efficiency.
• Provide stakeholders with performance dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights.

6. Corporate Governance and Multi-Layered Structures

• Design holding companies, subsidiaries, and joint ventures to enhance tax planning and operational agility.
• Implement processes for seamless financial consolidation and reporting across jurisdictions.
• Maintain rigorous governance practices to ensure accountability across all corporate layers.

7. Technology and Web3 Integration

• Guide the design and implementation of blockchain-based tokenomics to balance user incentives and revenue sustainability.
• Navigate the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets in key global markets.
• Collaborate with technology teams to integrate emerging tools like AI and blockchain into financial frameworks.

8. Leadership and Team Development

• Build and lead a world-class finance team, promoting innovation, accountability, and growth.
• Identify and mentor future leaders within the finance organization to ensure continuity.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to align financial frameworks with company-wide objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

Professional Experience

• 10–15+ years in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent) with a track record of global success.
• Proven expertise in scaling organizations, fundraising, and capital management.
• Experience in technology-driven industries, particularly with Web3, blockchain, or digital finance.

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and global regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with advanced financial systems, enterprise software (ERP, BI tools), and blockchain integration.
• Mastery of risk management and cost optimization strategies.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA, CPA, CFA preferred).
• Specialized certifications in blockchain, digital finance, or international business are advantageous.
