Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Supplier

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of manufacturing processes and products. This role involves implementing quality assurance practices, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures in manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and outputs.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities.
  • Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
