We are seeking an experienced member to join the Design team for our Ads & Personalisation Technology (APT) team in Singapore. This role will be based in Singapore, reporting into the Senior Design Manager for APT. You will collaborate daily with a diverse set of specialists, including UX designers, researchers, visual designers, product managers, product analysts, and business stakeholders across Grab to build a great user experience which delivers business results.

The Ads & Personalisation Technology (team) is a team focused on building relevant ad products across our platform for both our merchants and end customers. We want to help our merchants and advertisers grow their business and reach the right audiences, and we want our end consumers to see the most relevant suggestions for them.

Get to know the Role:
Understand the full scope of a typical user-centered design process with the ability to think strategically and creatively about the holistic vision for a product experience that solves real customer pain points.
Plan and conduct cross functional product strategy workshops to facilitate ideations and creations of UX related artefacts to help product scoping and delivery planning.
Ability to conceptualize and iterate many different creative solutions to bring innovative ideas to a market. Work with relevant teams to ensure the feasibility of design.
Strong ability to create polished, production level, world class visual design.
Ability to prototype design solutions in your preferred design tool such as Figma, Framer or Protopie.
Regular review of usage data to analyze user behaviour, pain points and to inform design decisions.
Turn data from market, industry trends, competitive analysis, and user experience research into user insights and make the appropriate trade offs from there.
Able to handle expectations of stakeholders and setting clear vision and get buy in cross functional.
Able to evangelize Design across the organization.
Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately.
Strong design portfolio with a range of interactive samples. Having shipped Apps in an App Store is helpful.
7+ years working experience as a UX Designer.
Excellent understanding of user experience design for the web, mobile, or touch devices.
Good eye for visual design and hands on experience in user interface design.
Knowledge of the Tech space.
Working knowledge of common mobile and front-end web development.
Healthy blend of strategic thinking capabilities with an innate "dream big, start small" mindset and an eagle eye for detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to quickly command trust and respect from executives and partners.
Empathy for users and a drive to discover and resolve their pain points.
An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
Experience in service design, conducting user research through various methods, and abilities to translate research finding into tangible product feature requirements or improvements is a plus.
