Job Description

We are hiring a Senior GitOps Engineer to help lead the automation of our cloud infrastructure through GitOps best practices. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated systems that empower development teams and accelerate delivery.

Youll work cross-functionally with platform, security, and development teams to implement robust automation strategies and CI/CD pipelines that support our private and hybrid cloud environments

Responsibilities

· Implement and optimize GitOps workflows

· Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible

· Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.

· Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to ensure infrastructure automation meets security, compliance, and scalability standards.

· Manage Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and deployment configurations in a declarative and reproducible manner.

· Integrate secrets management and policy-as-code tools into GitOps pipelines.

· Monitor and troubleshoot deployment workflows and infrastructure health.

· Contribute to the documentation of processes, tools, and architectural decisions.

Support junior engineers and provide technical leadership within project teams.

Skills and Requirements

· 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

· Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.

· Solid experience with IaC (Terraform and Ansible) and CI/CD systems (GitLab).

· Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash, Python).

· Strong understanding of version control (Git), GitOps workflows, and YAML configuration management.

· Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and Vault or other secrets managers.

Experience working in environments with high security or regulatory compliance requirements. null
