Job Description

The Applied Intelligence division of BAE Systems delivers solutions which protect and enhance the connected world. You will be involved in shaping, mobilising, planning and delivering to Federal Government, National Security and Defence customers from our Canberra office.

This role will see you closely involved in pre-sales activities and supporting the subsequent delivery of cross domain technologies under the direction of the Portfolio Manager.  

To be successful:

  • You will have exposure to IT systems integration and ideally some software development. You can demonstrate building effective relationships with a range of technical and functional staff .
  • You can demonstrate management of the dependencies and equipment at customer sites and data centres.
  • Experience supporting business winning activities including customer requirement identification, planning and estimation.
  • You understand project delivery from waterfall to agile and demonstrate knowledge of how and when to apply techniques most appropriately.
  • You will have at least 2 years' experience performing a similar role.

 
This role requires an active NV1 clearance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with customers and our technical staff to identify requirements and product based solutions.
  • Ensure customer requests are addressed effectively and efficiently with agreed service levels achieved.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (external and internal customers) and actively manage the customer’s expectations through appropriate communications, reporting, assurance and governance.
