My client is an innovative organisation engaged in fields across academia, medical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and testing.
Work as part of the software project team to implement features in the software during R&D projects.
Fix software defects and address customer escalations for released software platforms when required.
Attend team meetings to review, cost, and prioritise SW features.
Contribute to discussions on software transformation strategy and implementation of new technologies.
Work closely with Marketing and Software Quality teams to define requirements and user acceptance tests.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with designing, developing software solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio tools in C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core (1 year commercial/non-commercial)
Experience in developing microservices architecture and use of relevant design patterns related to it.
Experience in the development of web applications and web APIs in, Angular, REST.
Ability to analyse and structure any kind of software problem.
Experience with Quality lifecycle processes; Unit tests, User Acceptance Tests as well as continuous integration infrastructure.
Experience with software engineering tools such as source code version control system (preferably Git).
