Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Hematology
Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 14 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: 5 days/week | 35–40 hours per week | Evening and Night shifts preferred
Pay Rate: $58 – $60/hour

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Hematology for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret a variety of hematology tests including CBCs, differentials, coagulation studies, and related assays.

• Prepare, analyze, and verify test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot hematology analyzers and laboratory instruments.

• Adhere to quality control procedures and participate in proficiency testing to meet accreditation standards.

• Accurately document and enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure proper test utilization and patient care.

• Comply with all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, NYSED).

• Participate in ongoing education, training, and competency assessments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong hematology experience (hospital or high-volume lab preferred).

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Technology (Bachelor’s in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field preferred).

• Licensure: Valid NYSED License (092) required; primary source verification needed.

• Certifications: BLS Certification preferred.
