About the Role: As a CBRE Union Sr. Engineer, you will be responsible foridentifying, isolating, and repairing complex problems with HVAC, electricalequipment, and mechanical systems.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do: - Supervise and coordinate the daily workload of the team.
- Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC & electrical equipmentand controls to find problems and perform necessary repairs. Makerecommendations for improvement on existing HVAC systems and equipment.
- Adhere to established work order preventive maintenanceschedules.
- Review weekend work and ensure that material and staff isavailable.
- Check new equipment and research ideas to maximizeefficiency and cost savings.
- Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, bettermethods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
- Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depthknowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
- Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertisein most or all areas within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistentwith CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others,often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point ofview.
- Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project,or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided byfunctional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

What You’ll Need: - High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisoryexperience preferred.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyondexisting solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard andinnovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitivemindset. Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complexfigures such as percentages, fractions ,and other financial-relatedcalculations.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union position is $56.41 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
