The Senior Hub - Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, compassionate, and team-driven individual to join our Route Support team! In this full-time role, you'll play a vital part in our daily operations, helping ensure meals are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time to the clients who count on us.?

The Senior Hub-Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is a large, 501c3 nonprofit organization serving Fairfield County. The agency serves as the county's office on aging providing programs and services to improve health, connection, and independent living for those 60 and older living in Fairfield County.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide support to the Route Manager, delivery staff, and volunteers to ensure timely, accurate, and safe meal delivery

Deliver exceptional customer service to clients

Perform clerical duties and accurate data entry using agency software systems

Coordinate and oversee the Commodities, Food4Paws, and Ensure programs

Serve as backup for Home Delivered Meals drivers as needed

REQUIREMENTS

Customer service experience required

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs required

Computer experience in an office environment or coursework with a computer component required

Logistics knowledge preferred
