Overview: - A rapidly growing, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Investor Relations to join its executive leadership team.
- This role will lead all financial operations while serving as a key partner to the CFO and executive team. You’ll play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, managing investor relationships, and supporting growth initiatives, including M&A.
- This is a highly visible position with direct impact on the organization’s growth and long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead Investor Relations, including regular communication with investors, board members, and external stakeholders; prepare and present financial updates, performance insights, and strategic initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and decision-making
- Lead all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness
- Support and execute M&A activity (due diligence, valuation, deal execution, and integration)
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and capital investments
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and external partners
- Oversee treasury functions, cash flow, and capital allocation
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team
- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership within healthcare services
- Background in investment banking, with healthcare transaction exposure preferred
- Proven experience managing investor relations and working with boards, investors, or private equity stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, and operational metrics (value-based care experience a plus)
- Proven experience leading M&A transactions end-to-end
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred Experience: - Experience in a private equity-backed or publicly traded healthcare organization
- Exposure to healthcare technology and data analytics
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
