Position Details:

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years
Pay Range: $58.00 per hour to $68.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN with a strong background in ICU and extensive cardiac care experience. Candidates must be comfortable floating to Medical Surgical units as needed while providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements:

• Current Illinois RN License required
• CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ICU experience REQUIRED
• Extensive Cardiac experience REQUIRED
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Education verification required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and standards of care
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards
• Participate in unit-based performance improvement and shared governance initiatives
• Provide clinical expertise and support to multiple departments and units
• Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
