Levelheaded is building a new category of dispute resolution. We sit between the everyday friction people experience and the expensive, slow legal path that comes when no one steps in early. Our platform pairs trained resolution professionals with technology to resolve conflict faster, fairer, and at a fraction of the cost of attorneys and courts.

We work with property management companies, HOAs, courts, and the residents and boards inside them. We believe early resolution should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford a $400 per hour attorney and a six month wait. We are a small, well-funded team in Denver, and growing fast.

The Opportunity

We are opening a new tier of resolution roles to help us move through high volume, lower complexity conversations with care and speed.

This is a ground floor opportunity. You will not be filling a seat in a mature org chart. You will be one of the first Resolution Associates on the team, working alongside our senior Resolution Specialists and directly with the people building the platform. The skills you bring, and the conversations you resolve, will help shape how this category scales.

What You'll Do

• Handle 30 to 50 high volume, lower complexity conversations per week, most of which close quickly
• Work async (written facilitation through our platform) and sync sessions over video or phone
• Use our platform, tech and full conversation context to move quickly while staying calm, fair, and clear
• Surface patterns. If something is broken or could be better, you tell us, and we ship the fix
• Help us document what works so the next ten people who join can hit the ground running

Who We're Looking For

We are casting a wide net. You do not need to be a certified mediator or have a law degree. You need to be gifted at helping people work things out.

You might be a fit if you are:

• A recent college grad with two to three years of professional experience in customer success, account management, HR, social work, hospitality, sales, or any role where you have helped people resolve hard conversations
• A newer ODR or ADR attorney looking to build real reps in a tech-forward environment
• A career changer with strong negotiation instincts and an interest in legal tech
• Someone early in their resolution career

What matters most:

• Excellent written communication. Clear, calm, structured, human. Writing is much of the job.
• High EQ. You read situations well, hold space for hard emotions, and find the path forward without escalating.
• Deep comfort with technology. You are at home on Zoom, you pick up new tools quickly, and you see AI as something that helps you do better work, not something that threatens it.
• Self-direction. You can manage your own calendar and hit volume and quality targets without daily oversight.

How This Works

You set your availability. We fill your calendar. You will have full access to our platform, case context, AI tools, and a sharp small team to learn alongside.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role at $30 to $40 per hour based on experience. You handle your own taxes and self-employment expenses. We provide standard 1099 documentation and the tooling to make it easy.
