The Dental Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and serving as the first point of contact for patients. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining an organized schedule, and supporting the daily operations of the dental office.
Key Responsibilities
1 Front Desk & Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer phones, check patients in/out, maintain a welcoming environment.
2 Scheduling: Schedule, reschedule, confirm appointments, and send reminders.
3 Insurance & Payments: Collect co-pays, verify basic insurance, assist with billing questions.
4 Administrative Tasks: Update patient records, manage paperwork, support office operations.
Qualifications
1 High school diploma or equivalent
2 Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred
3 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4 Basic computer skills (dental software a plus)
5 Ability to multitask and stay organized
