Remote Healthcare Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale healthcare insurance initiative that is transitioning from Phase I to Phase II. This role will work closely with both IT and business stakeholders to drive clarity in requirements, improve delivery quality, and support testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document requirements

Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation

Validate requirements to ensure they are properly understood and delivered as expected

Support User Acceptance Testing and ensure alignment with business expectations

Bridge communication between onshore business teams and offshore development resources

Contribute to both:

Agile user stories

More traditional "spec package" style documentation for legacy processes

Skills and Requirements

Strong experience working with business stakeholders and driving requirements sessions

Proven ability to create clear, structured documentation and specs

Experience in UAT/testing validation

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong Excel and data analysis skills

Experience in healthcare insurance (self-insured models highly preferred Comfort working in hybrid Agile and traditional environments

Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models
