Job Summary**
As a Project Manager in the FranklinCovey Education Product Development team, you will play a vital role in building products that enable success in the most profound and important challenges facing Districts, Schools, and Students worldwide.
You will be responsible for managing the product development process from kickoff to launch, adhering to the project timeline and budget through clear expectations to meet our high-quality standards. You'll need to be proactive and collaborative to coordinate stakeholders - from senior management to third-party contractors and subject matter experts - identify resources, manage multiple schedules, communicate early and often, anticipate and adjust for change, and whatever else comes your way - and there is always something new that will come your way. Having a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and self-direction will help you excel in this role.
Essential Job Functions
As a member of the Education PMO, contribute expertise, develop processes and documentation, collaboratively resolve problems, and improve methods and systems for collaboration with key stakeholders.
Oversee project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Effectively communicate project status, expectations, and issues to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Maintain project milestones, schedules, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
Work collaboratively to manage changes in project scope and direction, recalibrating schedules and budgets as needed.
Manage project budgets and vendor relationships.
Focus on continual process improvement by helping the Director develop and maintain documentation for processes and training.
Basic Qualifications
BS/BA degree
3+ years of experience in a project management capacity
Preferred Skills & Experience
Proficiency using Notion as a project management tool
Proficiency using Acquia Widen or similar as a Data Asset Management tool
Strong prioritization skills
Exercise good judgment, creative problem-solving, and discretion in making decisions that impact stakeholders
Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Think ahead while helping the team meet immediate needs
Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure
Ability to manage diverse interests among stakeholders and handle disagreements with diplomacy and respect
