Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6) – Pathology
Location: New York, NY
Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $140,689 annually
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 35 Hours/Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologist (Level 6) – Pathology for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
- Oversee daily operations within the Anatomic Pathology laboratory
- Ensure compliance with NYS, NYSED, CAP, CLIA, and hospital regulatory standards
- Supervise and support laboratory personnel and workflow management
- Develop and implement laboratory programs, policies, and quality initiatives
- Maintain laboratory safety and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with pathology leadership and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Oversee Histology, Cytopathology (future expansion), Gross Room, and Mortuary areas
- Active NYS Histological Technician License required
- Active NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology OR related science field required
- Minimum 5 years clinical laboratory experience required
- Minimum 4 years Anatomic Pathology experience required
- Minimum 2 years laboratory leadership / operations oversight experience required
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, NYS, NYSED) required
- Experience in program development and hospital laboratory operations required

- Gross Room
- Mortuary
