Tennis Teaching Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Head Tennis Professional to help lead our tennis program with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Director of Tennis and facility General Manager to oversee coaching sessions, develop training programs, and foster a vibrant tennis community. Your leadership will inspire players of all ages and skill levels, to promote technical, physical, and mental growth. The ideal candidate is a passionate, hard-working, and lifelong learner that is not only ready to improve others on court, but themselves as well.

Duties

• Provide beginning through advanced instruction (private and group) for all levels and ages of players for commission
• Develop customized training programs to improve players’ techniques, strategies, and fitness
• Uphold high standards of instruction and customer service
• Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation, sportsmanship, and fun
• Assist with youth camps, summer programs, or themed tennis activities
• Strong knowledge of tennis merchandise to properly give information to consumers
• Understand the facility POS system; Ensure lessons and groups are properly recorded into POS system
• Enforces all club and corporate policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tennis coach or professional with a strong background in sports coaching and teaching
• Demonstrated ability to work with children and manage behavior effectively in a safe, instructional, and professional setting
• Experience in health club or gym environments is preferred for understanding fitness integration
• Certifications are highly recommended. USPTA/RSPA or PTR certified coaching licensure strongly encouraged along with 1+ years of experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
