The Role

We’re looking for a strategic professional to join our Personal Office team. In this role, you’ll build, scale, and manage NorthRock’s business management offering, including client relationships, operational execution, and financial performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is known for strong ownership, financial discipline, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and build NorthRock’s business management offering as a scalable service line
  • Define the operating model, service structure, delivery standards, workflows, and governance
  • Lead and manage key business management client relationships
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for complex client needs and strategic discussions
  • Partner with advisors and internal teams to coordinate integrated client solutions
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with revenue growth and profitability targets
  • Manage P&L considerations, including revenue, expenses, and contribution margin
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, key metrics, and progress toward target margins
  • Support sourcing, structuring, onboarding, and expansion of business management relationships
  • Partner across Personal Office, Finance, Legal, and Operations to support execution and alignment
  • Develop staffing models, team structure, roles, and resource plans as the platform scales
  • Ensure adherence to firm policies, operational controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, business management, family office, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver high-touch service
  • Experience building or scaling business lines, service models, or operational platforms
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. This role may also be eligible for variable pay (bonuses, commissions, incentives).
