DIOCESE OF ALLENTOWN Secretariat for Administration Position Description Job Title: Accounting Clerk Job Status: Full Time FLSA: Non-Exempt Reporting Functions: Reports to Controller Job Function: Accounting clerk will perform accounting functions in support of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments as needed. Completes special projects and other assignments, as directed, all in concert with the strategic direction of the Diocese. Duties and Responsibilities: Finance and Budget Office activities: Opening and sorting mail Processes deposits Prepare and distribute monthly billing invoices and statements Process payable invoices Print and distribute disbursement checks Research inquires regarding paid and unpaid invoices Support other accounting reconciliations and reports as needed Filing, copying, and scanning, and organizing.
