Job description General Contractor is looking to fill the position of Billing Assistant/Office Support . The individual will be responsible for invoicing, completing transactions into our current accounting system, various clerical duties within the office and be cross trained in administrative functions. Responsibilities: Collect and review service technicians’ timecards and work orders for proper billing information and accuracy. Make corrections as appropriate to ensure accurate billing. Calculate and extend technician’s time for billing. Prepare and send invoices. Research and resolve routine billing questions and discrepancies. Enter vendor invoices into accounting systems. Actively follow up on invoices in approving status, ensuring they are approved and posted to current accounting system on a timely basis; follow up on rejected invoices to ensure a replacement invoice is received.
