There are two core functions of the Exercise Specialist. Exercise Instruction and Patient Care Coordination. The first entails the implementation and supervision of prescribed therapeutic programs, and the second is the coordination of patient care which covers all the needed support tasks that ensure patients are moving smoothly through each session and there is good communication between the front office and the clinical staff regarding the patient’s care. It is the combination of these two roles that facilitate the smooth routing and treatment of patients, and maintain a clean, organized, and functional facility. Qualifications: High School Diploma, or working towards a High School Diploma, required. The physical demands required of this position involve extensive standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
