Vaco Boston has partnered with our client in Boston and we are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join their finance team. Responsibilities: Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting functions for assigned funds, including reconciliations, journal entries, and valuations. Prepare Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and investor reporting. Reconcile bank statements, investment positions, and other financial data. Collaborate with portfolio managers, auditors, custodians, and administrators to support fund operations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or other regulatory standards. Maintain and update general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and fund accounting software. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
