Full job description Job Description: IT Help Desk Technician Office of Information Technology The IT Help Desk Technician provides technical support for faculty, students and staff within the areas of the Help Desk and the Computing Accounts and Passwords. The IT Help Desk Technician is part of a team which provides technical advice, guidance and information training to the Brown University user community for both general and in-depth technical issues via phone, chat, email and in person on a variety of computer hardware, software, peripherals, mobile devices and other electronic equipment. A strong emphasis of this position is working with the Computing Accounts and Password group that includes managing the creation, modification and deletion of electronic services and administrative accounts.
