Full job description The New York City Council’s Administrative Services Division is seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator who will be responsible for preparing purchasing documents. SALARY RANGE : $65,000 to $75,000 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Liaison with city agencies and private vendors by maintaining working relationships with The Financial Information Services Agency (FISA), Department of Administrative Services (DCAS) and other entities in a professional and courteous manner including but not limited to corresponding with vendors in preparing Purchase Orders. Provides support services by accurately documented written and/or typed materials, maintains filing in an accurate and timely manner, assists in stockroom for deliveries and supply orders on an as needed basis in a courteous fashion.
