Current projects investigate how cells navigate a complex signaling environment following DNA damage and ultimately engage one of several possible repair mechanisms. We are exploring 1) how DNA damage signaling impacts tumor progression and therapy responses, and 2) how DNA damage response alterations can be exploited to treat and prevent cancer.
