Job Summary: We are seeking a candidate who will help to advance basic and translational research in lung injury, lung transplantation, and sepsis, supporting several physician-scientists within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The candidate will perform supervised work on several projects using human patient specimens and cultured cells. Specifically, with Dr. Monica Liu, they will generate lung organoids from patients' bronchoalveolar lavage fluid to study mechanisms of lung transplant rejection.
