Duties As a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist at the full performance level, you will: Provide input in the development of the Region's safety policy and participate with the Regional Safety and Occupational Health Manager, managers, and supervisors in formulation of Regional safety policy. This includes implementation of WAPA's safety and occupational health program; risk analysis; WAPA and Regional safety orders, as they relate to WAPA and contractor personnel; and other activities. Inspect, investigate, record, analyze, and report, related to the safe operation, maintenance, and construction of high voltage transmission lines, substations, and related facilities. Research Federal OSHA, State OSHA, National Fire Protection Association, DOE, WAPA, and industry consensus standards.
