Who You Are:

What You'll Do:
You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design, implementation, documentation, & testing.
You will research new ways of doing things and pitch new ideas to your team!
You will develop features across multiple subsystems including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
You will investigate, analyze, and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades, and modifications.
You will determine and design system specifications & standards.
You will assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
You will prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
You will design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
You will package and support deployment of releases.
You will analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
You will accomplish engineering and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed.
What You Have:
You are proficient in developing and debugging complex software systems running in primarily Linux and/or Windows environments.
You have a solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environments.
You have experience working in an agile development team environment using the scrum framework.
You have experience using JIRA or similar issue tracking software.
You have excellent communication skills and able to work in a geographically distributed team environment.
You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and perform work on time.
You have experience with geospatial programming.
You have working knowledge of GitHub.
You have experience with an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
You have experience deploying and administering solutions in cloud server environments.
You have experience with computer science fundamentals and data structures generally obtained from a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
