The Community Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering programs for the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County Home Energy Assistance (HEAP) and Summer Youth Employment Programs designed to assist low-income, vulnerable, and youth populations in the community. The Community Specialist assists with other programs as assigned. This position also helps participants make connections to other Extension resources and programs, regularly collaborating with other CCE Albany staff and departments. The Community Specialist works as part of a flexible team - performing responsibilities which can change based on Association needs, new initiatives, etc. We firmly believe in work-life balance and provide generous paid time off. This position is full-time. Compensation is paid at the rate of $25.05 per hour and includes 21 Vacation days, 14 Holidays, 3 Personal days and 12 Sick days annually.
