This position performs administrative and financial work to assist in overseeing municipal funds, revenue collection, payroll, and cash flow to ensure the Town's long-term financial stability. Under the administrative direction of the Treasurer/Collector, the Assistant Treasurer/Collector oversees and coordinates the collections process, including but not limited to real estate, excise, and personal property taxes. Assists the Treasurer/Collector with banking relationships and the regular reconciliation of bank accounts; reviews payable; approves payments and initiates wire transfers.
