Position Summary The District Six Accounting Co-op will support the District Six Administrator with a variety of fiscal and budgeting projects and tasks. District Six is part of MassDOT’s Highway Division and supports a wide range of projects and employees. The co-op will leverage their accounting knowledge to troubleshoot issues, maintain compliance with state and federal requirements, and participate in the day-to-day accounting work of the district. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare documents for processing payments through the MMARS and Project Info system. Use accounting principles and procedures while working with vendors to ensure account information is accurate and up to date. Work with District 6 employees to manage their fiscal needs.
