St. Gerard Catholic School is accepting applications for a full-time lower elementary teacher aid. Applicants must be able to provide an extensive background check and VIRTUS training, completed prior to hiring. Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, hardworking, and possess strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff alike. Aids serve as a support to the teacher and students of the classroom, and perform various duties not limited to; student interventions, co-teaching, working with small groups, etc. Applicants should be practicing Catholics who are excited to share his or her faith with children in both knowledge and deed. The ideal applicant would have a strong sense of classroom etiquette and management. Kindergarten Teacher- St. Gerard Catholic School/Lansing, MI St. Gerard Catholic School is accepting applications for a full-time kindergarten teacher. Applicants must have a valid State of Michigan teaching certificate (elementary certified) as well as be able to provide an extensive background check and VIRTUS training, completed prior to hiring. Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, hardworking, and possess strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff alike. Applicants should be practicing Catholics who are excited to share his or her faith with children in both knowledge and deed. The ideal applicant will be a teacher who is able to differentiate curriculum, use technology as a tool to enhance their teaching through Smart boards, Chromebooks, and iPads, as well as a strong sense of classroom management.
