The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIE) at the University of Maine (UMaine) invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor (Ph.D. required) or Lecturer (M.S. required) position. This is a teaching-focused position with a two-year, fixed-length appointment that will play a central role in supporting and strengthening the Department's undergraduate program. The successful candidate will teach fundamental and applied courses at the undergraduate level, with potential opportunities to contribute to graduate instruction as appropriate. The Department is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in water resources and geotechnical or geoenvironmental engineering.
