Campus Recreation is looking for self-motivated team players that enjoy spending time at the REC and could envision themselves working to make improvements in the services that campus recreation provides. Summer REC employees receive free gear rental when available. The Campus Recreation Assistant is responsible for monitoring facility access and ensuring the safe usage of the REC Center. This is a mid-level entry position that requires experience with cash handling. Knowledge of customer service, recreation, and wellness. First Aid and Adult CPR certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain this certification. Responsible for renting REC Center outdoor equipment, monitoring the entrance and exit, checking in guests and members, and maintaining a clean, friendly environment.
