Position Overview The District Executive’s primary duty is recruiting and supporting volunteer leaders to ensure the mission of Scouting is successfully delivered. The District Executive is responsible for operations and performance of a territory, including the effective organization, execution, and promotion of the council program through the leadership of volunteers. Performance is measured by the successful achievement of membership, fund development, program, and unit service campaigns with a key emphasis on volunteer recruitment and support. Responsibilities Recruit, develop, and maintain effective volunteer leadership teams. Assure the flow of funds from the territory through annual fundraising and product sales campaigns to help the council achieve its mission.
