The Department of Pathology is seeking a Clinical Care Services Supervisor (Medical Lab Scientist Supervisor) to verify, monitor and oversee molecular infectious disease, viral and/or bacteriologic in vitro testing to provide data for use in the treatment and diagnosis of disease and supervises the operational activities of a small self-contained laboratory or a unit within a larger laboratory. This includes preparing patient specimens for mail out testing. Verify, monitor and oversee specified routine and STAT tests which may involve numerous steps and techniques that require the use of judgment and problem solving skills. Ensures the smooth, efficient operation of a clinical laboratory. Monitors for accurate performance of approved procedures while troubleshooting and ensuring training and instruction.
